We regret to note that the Deputy Speaker of the Selangor State Assembly and State Assembly Woman for Taman Medan Puan Haniza Mohd Talha under the Selangor Menteri Besar and the top PKR leadership’s directive is now trying to do the exact UMNO number on the Indian settlers now called “squatters” in PJS1, Kampung Lindungan ( Kg Medan) :-

1) By telling the settlers to move out first and their housing problems would later be solved. (Sinar 13/3/2010 at page S10).

2) Some of the earlier settlers were forced to similarly move out to Lembah Subang some 16 years ago on UMNOs’ empty promises but are still homeless right up to date. Many have been passed away having led miserable lives. And now PKR continues this UMNO oppression and suppression so these Indians

3) The Sri Ananda Murugan hindu temple in Jalan PJS1/52 has already been moved three times in the last five years and are now offered a peanuts 10,000 sq feet piece of land to move for the fourth time. But even then as usual also by the PKR, DAP and PAS state governments of Selangor, Penang and Kedah like their previous UMNO predecessors, there is no land title issued or at least an official letter from the state government approving and alienating land to this temple within two moths or such other reasonable time period. This can only mean a temporary solution by PKR with the view to an imminent 5th moving out and / or with the view to permanently wiping out this and “ ethnic cleansing ” of this and hundreds of Hindu temples by this methodology

In the first place why has the previous UMNO and now the PKR Selangor state governments has had no history of similarly moving about Masjids, Suraus, Chinese temples, churches etc but only pick on hindu temples? Indians soft targets? Indians have no or very little political and economic strength? PKR, DAP and PAS want to continue the UMNO tradition by using the mandore system?

4) As it stands the PKR led Selangor State government is hardly any different from previous UMNO regime and in fact is yet again colluding with UMNO like what was done by the DAP Penang State government in the Kg Buah Pala last Indian traditional village demolishment fiasco, by the PKR led Selangor State government last month having transferred the said PJS 1, Kampung Lindugan land to the UMNO Federal government before even solving this long standing basic housing problem for these poor working class and homeless ethnic minority Indians.

5) Dishing out peanuts of supposedly RM20,000.00 for the Sri Ananda Murugan hindu temple and that too through the PKR Indian Exco mandore which a mere eye wash political rhetoric UMNO style using the previous MIC mandore role style and is a temporary and not a permanent solution. Even then no land title issued for this hindu temple

6) The Indians want a permanent and wholesome solution to these critical Indian problems as opposed to the present mere temporary solutions as if they are treating the Indians as refugees and immigrants.

7) Please be reminded that we are now the fourth fifth and even sixth generation ethnic minority Indians in Malaysia and are here to stay and stay here permanently.

The mere fact that the Selangor State Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim led Selangor state government has never bothered to reply to our letters is Res Ipsa Loquiteour. ( The facts speak for itself )

This only further reinforces the reality that the Indians in Malaysia are not going to get real representation from PKR, DAP and PAS let alone UMNO.

If PKR, DAP, and PAS like UMNO continues to take this racist approach and deliberately refuses to address even this very elementary homeless problem and freedom of religion nights of the ethnic minority Indian hindus in Malaysia , there is no way there is going to be changes vis a vis the Indians if P.R gets to Putrajaya.
